DART Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated  Cook A on behalf of our client, an established hospitality group based in Larnaca, Cyprus.

The successful candidate will join a small, modern kitchen operation specializing in Italian-inspired cuisine, primarily focaccia sandwiches and pasta dishes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on culinary professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, can work independently, and is confident managing daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality Italian-inspired dishes, including fresh focaccia sandwiches and pasta.

• Oversee daily food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Organize and coordinate food orders, particularly for takeaway and delivery services.

• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.

• Manage stock levels, monitor ingredients, and assist with supplier orders.

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Coordinate kitchen workflow during busy service periods.

• Support menu improvements and contribute practical ideas to enhance kitchen efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a Cook A, Senior Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor.

• Experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, particularly pasta and sandwiches.

• Ability to work independently and confidently manage a small kitchen.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen procedures.

• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Flexibility and a hands-on approach to daily kitchen operations.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: €1,500–€2,000 per month, depending on experience.

• Employment: Full-time position.
