Agronomist – Sales Consultant

DART Recruitment, on behalf of one of the largest and most established Garden Centres in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an Agronomist – Sales Consultant to join its team in Limassol.

Role Overview

The position combines agronomic knowledge, customer service, sales, and creativity, offering the opportunity to assist customers with plant selection, gardening solutions, and the design of attractive outdoor spaces.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about plants, enjoy interacting with customers, and be interested in using modern digital tools to create garden and outdoor design proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide professional advice on plant selection, plant care, and gardening products.

• Develop garden, balcony, and terrace design proposals using digital design tools.

• Ensure the daily care, maintenance, and proper presentation of plants.

• Organize and display products attractively, contributing to the smooth operation of the Garden Centre.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, or a related field.

• Knowledge of ornamental plants and their basic care requirements.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new digital tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Previous experience in a Garden Centre, plant nursery, or plant retail environment.

• Experience in sales or customer advisory roles.

• Familiarity with digital garden and outdoor design software.

• Knowledge of landscaping, garden design, and outdoor space planning.
