On behalf of our client, a well-established and fast-growing property development company based in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Head of Design & Architecture. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior Architect to lead the company's architectural vision, establish and develop the internal Design & Architecture Department, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality residential and mixed-use developments.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will lead the Company's architectural function while actively participating in the design of new developments during the initial growth phase. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on architectural design, offering the opportunity to shape the company's long-term design standards and build a high-performing in-house team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of all new residential and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept designs, and planning applications.
• Optimize project layouts to maximize functionality and saleable areas.
• Manage and coordinate external architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Establish and implement company-wide architectural and design standards.
• Lead value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural support throughout the construction phase.
• Establish, develop, and lead the Design & Architecture Department.
• Collaborate closely with the Development, Construction, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect and active member of ETEK.
• Minimum of 10–15 years of post-qualification architectural experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior architectural leadership position.
• Proven experience designing residential and mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus Planning Law, Building Regulations, and permitting procedures.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance design excellence and business objectives.
